Hello Governor Mifflin families,
As an integral part of our district’s Health and Safety Plan communications protocol, I provide the following advisory. A staff member at Governor Mifflin Intermediate School has tested positive for COVID-19.
Here are the facts of these cases that are appropriate to share:
- The employee does not have close contact with students.
- The employee was last on campus on November 9.
- The employee began experiencing symptoms on November 10 and remained home from school pending a COVID-19 test.
- The employee received a positive COVID-19 test result on November 14.
We have sent a separate communication to staff members who will be required to quarantine as a result of this case. No students will be required to quarantine as a result of this case. However, if you have previously received a quarantine notice, please continue to quarantine following the dates provided in that previous notice.
