Welcome to Cumru Elementary School!  It is a pleasure to support children at the primary level with their total development--physical, social, emotional, and cognitive.

In our Kindergarten through Grade 3 building, the child is the center of all our decisions.  Our dedicated, creative, and exceptional staff are to be credited for their daily efforts in making Cumru a nurturing, exciting, and challenging atmosphere. In partnership with the parents,we assist children in reaching their potential.  Although our school is large in numbers, the warm, caring environment enables us to focus on the child as an individual. 

I attempt to know each child on a first name basis and I enjoy participating in the monthly "Principal's Birthday Lunch," the "Principal's Caught Being Good" program and attending numerous school activities and programs.  Our strong partnerships with parents and the community permit us to offer programs which are unique and exciting for the children.
 
This is my twentieth year serving as principal, and I am proud of the accomplishments of the children, staff, parents, and community in making Cumru an award-winning school with a distinct reputation for excellence.  We are truly committed to our mission to help" every child grow, flourish and succeed."
