The Governor Mifflin School District is surrounded by organizations and community members that volunteer their valuable time to help our students. Whether it is PTO/PAC family members, alumni, the Boosters organization, area businesses or any other area community group, our students enjoy many activities and resources made possible by these caring and giving individuals.
GOVERNOR MIFFLIN EDUCATION FOUNDATION
The Governor Mifflin Education Foundation is an independent, non-profit organization dedicated to seeking individual gifts and bequests and corporate gifts which can be awarded to support projects and teaching deemed by the trustees to advance excellence in education and to be of mutual benefit to the school district and the local community. The intent of the board is to fund projects by drawing from interest and not from the principle of the Foundation account.
GOVERNOR MIFFLIN MUSIC ASSOCIATION (GMMA)
Established in 1952, the Governor Mifflin Music Association is a non-profit organization that supports the Governor Mifflin School District’s music programs for all students in Grades K -12. Our goal is to ensure that our music program continues to be one of the nation’s best.
MIFFLIN ADVOCATES FOR GIFTED STUDENTS (MAGS)
Mifflin Advocates for Gifted Students is a friendly parent support group for gifted education in GMSD. Our events are designed to help parents learn more about gifted education and build positive relationships with school personnel so that we can help talented children and teens flourish.
