The science curriculum emphasizes the thinking skills involved in the scientific method of data collecting, analyzing, and problem solving. It introduces students to the biological, physical, and earth sciences. All units of study are standards aligned.

Grade 5 students study:

  • Astronomy
  • Simple Machines
  • Ecosystems
  • Plants

Grade 6 students study:

  • Wetlands & Pest Management
  • Force & Motion
  • Constructive/Destructive Geology
