Bullying is unacceptable at the Governor Mifflin Middle School.  We have a "Zero Tolerance Policy" concerning Bullying.

How can you take a stand against bullying?

The Governor Mifflin Middle School Staff expects you to A.C.T.

A - Avoid being alone with a bully.

C - Call for help. Ask a teacher or other adult to intervene.

T - Take a stand - help the victim.  Refuse to allow your peers to be bullied.  Tell the bully to stop.

Bullying Rules:     

   1.  Include don't exclude.
   2.  Everyone should help someone who is being bullied.
   3.  Respect individual differences.
   4.  Bullying is not acceptable.

Bullying Consequences:  

    1.  Warning by staff and/or Intervention.

    2.  Intervention with students: 
             A.  Parent phone call
             B.  Detention
             C.  Mediation 
             D.  Counseling  
             E.  SAP referral 
             F.  Give an opportunity to apologize  
             G.  Parent meeting  
             H.  Behavior Code intervention
    3.  Behavior Referral
