Throughout the year various activities are held for Children's Book Week, Read Across America Day, and National Library Week. Students can volunteer one period a week to work as a library aide. Their jobs include assisting library patrons with circulation, book processing, shelving library materials, and overall maintenance of the library. Students can participate in the Reading Olympic competition. An annual book fair takes place in the spring.
