
Health is a seventh grade course in the Middle School. The class meets once in a six day cycle. The course includes information on: Physical, Mental and Social Health Responsibility Decision Making Cells, Tissues, Organs, and Systems of the Body Hygiene Heat and Circulatory System Fast Foods Skeletal and Muscular Systems Adolescence and Human Development Tobacco, Alcohol, and other drugs
Our Physical Education curriculum is designed to educate and emphasize the importance of an individual's fitness level. Our activities focus on the building of endurance, strength, flexibility, and agility. In addition, students learn life long activities and develop life skills such as leadership, cooperation, and teamwork. Our major units consist of physical fitness testing, rock climbing, volleyball, strength and conditioning, and various types of game play.
