Board Approves Attendance Boundaries

In August 2009, Governor Mifflin opened its newest school building, Mifflin Park Elementary. This building is one of three elementary schools in the district. At a board meeting on October 20, 2008, the Governor Mifflin Board of School Directors approved the geographic attendance boundaries for Cumru, Brecknock and Mifflin Park Elementary schools. The map below reflects the current attendance boundaries.

While Cumru and Brecknock Elementary schools undergo new air conditioning system installations, fourth graders residing within the new Cumru boundaries ONLY are attending the Intermediate School in the 2009-2010 school year. Due to a change in the phasing schedule for the air conditioning installation, Brecknock Elementary is implementing fourth grade this school year for students residing within the Brecknock boundaries. Starting in the 2010-2011 school year, all three elementary schools will accommodate grades K-4.
