October Half-Day Schedules

Our first scheduled student half-day is on Friday, October 9. Given the nature of this year’s scheduling, we wanted to take this opportunity to offer some clarification on the half-day schedule so that you may plan accordingly. For now, we are providing information for the first quarter and will continue to provide updates throughout the school year. 

Currently, we have two student half days scheduled in October: October 9, October 30.

Scheduled Student Half Days for Grades K-6:
Dismissal for students attending in-person will be at 12:15 p.m. Grab and go lunches will be available. Online classes will end at 12:15 p.m.

Scheduled Student Half Days for Grades 7-12:
BCTC students will attend BCTC classes as normally scheduled and complete assignments for Governor Mifflin asynchronously via Google Classroom. Please click here for the 2020-2021 BCTC calendar. 

AM and PM secondary students will alternate attending in-person during the mornings of scheduled half days. The morning session will end at 10:45 a.m. 

Secondary students should follow the alternating schedule below for scheduled half days:

Students should continue to order weekly meal bundles.

Principals will send morning transportation pick-up times closer to this date.

In November, we will provide specific schedule information for weather-related closures, delays, and early dismissals. As a reminder, please log in to Skyward and click the Skylert tab to ensure your contact information is correct or make changes, if needed.
