Homework
Homework will be given on a nightly basis to reinforce concepts we worked on that day in school. Your child will be writing the homework assignments in their Homework Buddy. I encourage all my parents to check the Homework Buddy nightly. The Homework Buddy is a wonderful way to communicate with me on a daily basis. I will check for parent signatures and parent communications each morning.
On a typical night the students will usually have fifteen minutes of reading, a spelling page, and a math homelink. I like to give the children a few minutes to start their homework in class in case they need my help.
If your child is having difficulty completing their homework assignments please let me know. I also would like to know if it is taking your child a long time (over 30 minutes) to complete the homework assignments.
