All About Me...
This page is devoted to providing a little bit of background information about me. I was born and raised in Kutztown, PA. After high school I ventured to the "Big Apple" to study biology / pre-med and play Division I basketball at Manhattan College. I graduated with a B.S. in biology and then left for Germany to play basketball overseas. Following my stint in Europe I returned to the states to attend medical school at the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut. I loved medical school, but I still deeply desired to play basketball, so I returned home where I began substitute teaching and trying out for semiprofessional and professional basketball teams. I played semiprofessionally in New Philadelphia, PA and professionally in Birmingham, AL. After returning home from Alabama I decided to pursue my teacher's certificate and Master's Degree in Education at Albright College in Reading. This year will be my sixth year as a member of the Governor Mifflin community teaching biology, foundations of biology, and human biology.
