Group Rehearsal: Wednesday, May 12, 7:00 p.m. – GMIS

 

 

 

Dear Elementary Band Student, Parent/Guardian,

 

On Thursday, May 13, band students from all Governor Mifflin Elementary schools and Intermediate School will join together to present our Annual Spring Concert. The concert will be held at the Governor Mifflin Intermediate School at 7:00 p.m. on May 13. In this event, beginning band students from Mifflin Park, Brecknock, and GMIS will combine to perform in one large ensemble. This performance will be followed by a performance by the 5^th and 6^th grade band, and will conclude with a combined performance by ALL band students in grades 4, 5, and 6.

 

To prepare everyone for the May 13 concert, all band members will meet at GMIS for a combined rehearsal on May 12, at 7:00 p.m. This is the only opportunity for us to bring together all beginning and elementary band students to rehearse for our performance the next evening, so it is important for every band student to attend.

 

Band students have been rehearsing together, and practicing individually for the entire school year to prepare for this performance. Please plan to attend and participate in this performance.
