Hello! Just a little bit of information for you to get to know me.
I graduated from Wilson High School in 1992 and Shippensburg University in 1996 with a degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education. I taught fifth grade at Fleetwood Area School District for two years prior to moving to Maryland in 1999. There I taught 3rd grade and began working toward my Master's Degree in Reading Education. I became a Reading Recovery/Title I reading teacher in the Fall of 2002.
In December of 2003, my family moved back to Pennsylvania. At this time, I took an IST position with Fleetwood Area School District. In the summer of 2005, I made my "final" move to Governor Mifflin School District to return to a life as a reading teacher. This year, I have "changed" once again. I am now the Response to Intervention Coordinator for Brecknock Elementary and am looking forward to guiding all of our children in the direction of academic, behavioral and social success.
I have been married since 1996. I am the mother of two beautiful little boys - Jeremy and Nicholas. I have a new Rottweiler puppy named Cooper and live in the Sinking Spring area.
