My name is Miss Heather Shaffer and Governor Mifflin is where I started my teaching carreer and where I hope to be for a long time. I was blessed to have the opportunity to complete my junior professional block and one of my student teaching experiences in second grade at Brecknock Elementary. I graduated from Kutztown University in December 2009 with my degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. Since graduating I have had the opportunity of being a long term sub in second grade, two different fourth grade classrooms, and currently a first grade classroom all at Brecknock! While teaching I am currently working towards my masters degree in Language and Literacy Education at Millersville University. I love learning and always encourage my students to go after their dreams!
