The Governor Mifflin School District website makes use of the latest web technologies to help us present information to you in an organized and efficient manner. We also adhere to the current standards for website development as set forth by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).
In order to see the site as intended, the following recommendations are made:
Browsers
This website is best viewed with the latest browser appropriate for your operating system. If you are not running the most current version, you can download it here:
AOL users
The AOL web browser is a version of Internet Explorer. It is a version that has been modified in several ways, including graphic compression, which often results in poor image quality.
AOL users should open a non-AOL browser window for optimum results. After accessing your Internet connection, minimize the AOL screen and open the appropriate browser for your operating system (see browsers above).
Display Settings
This website is designed to be viewed at 800x600 or better monitor resolution. If your setting is 640x480, you may notice graphics and text extending off the edge of your monitor and distorting the layout of the web pages. (The 640x480 resolution is no longer supported in Windows with the release of Windows XP).
Color quality should be set at "true color" or "highest - 32bit."
Adobe Acrobat Reader
Adobe Acrobat pdf files are available on this site. In order to view and print these files, download the most current version of the software here:
