As in past years, when we created this year’s district calendar, we built in four days that can be used for winter weather closures. Therefore, for the first four snow days of this school year, if we need them, we will have “traditional” snow days. That means we will be closed on those days with no virtual learning.

In the event that we would need to use more than four snow days this school year, we are equipped and ready to make those days virtual learning days, which would not need to be made up in June. If we have a need to use more than four snow days this winter, we will provide more detailed information regarding virtual learning on snow days, should that possibility arise.

If we utilize a 2- or 3-hour delay for weather, students in grades 7-12, who are currently following the in-person hybrid schedule or who are fully virtual, will not follow a delay schedule and and will not report to school during the day. Students will be expected to log in for virtual classes during their regularly scheduled times (AM hybrid logs in at 7:45 a.m. or PM logs in at 11:45 a.m.).

In the event of a 2- or 3-hour delay, elementary students (K-6), who are both in-person and virtual, will follow the traditional delay schedule for busing or for logging in to classes.
