Attention Governor Mifflin School District families and staff,

On February 22, 2022, the Governor Mifflin School Board of Directors held a special voting meeting during which the board voted to remove our district’s mandatory masking policy and return to a mask optional policy. This decision was made in light of case counts within both Governor Mifflin School District and Berks County as a whole, both of which lowered considerably over the past month. This change to our masking policy will take effect immediately. We would like to sincerely thank the community for your cooperation in this matter as we worked to slow the spread of COVID-19 and keep our students in the classroom. As we move forward with a mask optional policy, we continue to ask all staff, students, and families to remain diligent in monitoring symptoms and to stay home if you are not feeling well. To review our revised Health and Safety Plan and for guidance related to quarantining, please visit www.governormifflinsd.org/covid-19. Thank you for your continued dedication to keeping our Governor Mifflin community healthy.
