In our ongoing effort to keep our families informed, we want to make you aware that due to the number of COVID-19 cases in the building, Governor Mifflin High School will be closed beginning this afternoon, March 25, and tomorrow, March 26. There will be no PM hybrid in-person learning for students in grades 9-12 today. All high school students should log in for virtual learning beginning this afternoon and tomorrow. All extracurricular activities scheduled at the high school for this afternoon and this evening are cancelled. Classes at all other Governor Mifflin schools will continue as planned.

The custodial staff will begin a deep cleaning of the high school today and we will provide an additional communication on Friday, March 26 regarding a reopening date and the weekend extracurricular schedule.

The Medicine Shoppe Community Vaccination Clinic scheduled for Saturday at the High School Auxiliary Gymnasium will continue as planned.

Please continue to follow our district Health and Safety Plan and report any positive, pending or suspected COVID-19 cases to our district hotline 610-775-1312 x. 1113.

Sincerely,
Bill McKay
Superintendent
Governor Mifflin School District
