PT Paraprofessional (Middle School)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•  Assist with instruction.
•  Consult with teacher and therapists for follow up activities.
•  Escort students to all classes/activities.
•  Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
•  Maintains confidentiality about students in accordance with district guidelines.
•  A high level of patience.
•  Maintains an appropriate record of punctuality and attendance.
•  Ability to relate with and interact positively with students, teachers and administration.
•  Classroom experience is preferred, but not required.
•  Assist teacher in monitoring behavior support plans.


PT Food Service Worker (Cumru)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•  Maintain State regulated standards and guidelines and department policies in the handling of foods, care of equipment and supplies.
•  Serving the students on the serving line according to the menu during the lunch meal.
•  Assist with clean up.
•  Must be friendly and courteous to the students.
•  Maintain confidentiality in accordance with the District’s guidelines.
•  Ensures that all actions are in concert with Board policies as well as the mission statement, beliefs, objectives and parameters found in the Board’s strategic plan.


FT Head Custodian (High School)

Governor Mifflin School District is looking for a 12 month F/T Head Custodian at our High School. The position ensures orderly, safe, clean, pleasant, functioning educational setting for students, staff and community. This individual oversees all physical needs of the building and the custodial staff. Three or more years of experience in a custodial position and one year in a custodial leadership position with expertise in floor care.


FT 3rd Shift Custodial Supervisor (High School)

We are looking for a 12 month F/T 3rd Shift Custodial Supervisor at our High School. The position maintains the custodial operations on the 3rd shift staff. This individual needs to be able to lead the other custodians and maintain an effective work environment. Three or more years of experience in a custodial position with expertise in floor care.


PT Food Service Worker (High School)

Requirements and Job Description:
•  Maintain State regulated standards and guidelines and department policies in the handling of foods, care of equipment and supplies.
•  Operate the dish room and assist cleaning at the end of the day.
•  Ability to communicate with and interact positively with the students and staff.
•  Maintain confidentiality in accordance with the District’s guidelines.
•  Ensures that all actions are in concert with Board policies as well as the mission statement, beliefs, objectives and parameters found in the Board’s strategic plan.


PT Custodian – High School (4.5 hours/day; 7:00-11:30 a.m.)

Salary and Benefits: As per AFSCME contract

Requirements and Job Description:
•  General custodial duties as directed by Supervisor.
•  Checking of the building security.
•  Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
•  Adhere to professional, ethical, and legal standards.

•  Areas and duties may vary as situations arise.
•  Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Substitute Support Staff – IMMEDIATE NEED!
(Custodians; Maintenance; Secretaries; Building Aides; Lunch Aides)

– You can earn income while controlling the days you are available to work!
– We offer our substitute Support Staff $10.15 an hour
– When a job becomes available, you will receive a direct telephone call from our Building Secretaries or Department Administrator
– We pay bi-weekly
– You will submit a timesheet for your services
– You will work when our students are in session
– You will be called to work when one of our staff members is absent
– You will assume that staff member’s role in their absence
– You can either accept or decline the opportunity
