GMBASSADORS

Purpose: Most GMbassadors are recommended by the Middle School Ambassador Program, but new students may apply. They must attend a three-hour training session outside of school hours, maintain a 3.0 GPA, be involved in school, and have good behavior. They should be positive, friendly, outgoing, confident, caring, knowledgeable of the building, assertive, trustworthy, empathetic and good leaders.

Activities:
Giving tours of the school, escorting new students to and from class, organizing and attending social events for new students, helping with PowerSchool, and being mentors by offering tips and advice.

Student Activity Fee Policy

The activity fee for clubs is due by December 16, 2019.


In accordance with school policy, the Governor Mifflin School District has established a Student Activity Fee. The purpose of this fee is to offset costs associated with Governor Mifflin’s extracurricular programs. A one-time fee of $75 will enable each Grade 7-12 student to participate in an unlimited number of school athletic teams or other co-curricular activities during the school year. Families with multiple children shall pay a maximum of $225 in student activity fees for the school year. Students eligible for free meals will have the activity fee automatically waived and others who feel this fee is a financial hardship can call the Business Office to discuss installment payments or a possible reduction in the fee.

If payment is not received by the due date, the student will not be eligible to participate until payment is made. Please click here for a full list of payment options and additional information about this fee.
