WELCOME TO GOVERNOR MIFFLIN HIGH SCHOOL

Governor Mifflin High School is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools and by the PA Department of Education.

The Governor Mifflin High School prepares students for a life-long process of learning by providing opportunities to achieve academic excellence, to understand the rights and responsibilities of the individual in a democratic society, to become self-reliant, to work effectively with others and to experience a wide range of activities in addition to the academic curriculum. The faculty and staff believes that a cooperative effort which includes students, professional and support staff, parents, school board and community is essential in promoting students’ intellectual, emotional, social and physical growth.

In Grades 9-12, students carry a minimum of five full-time courses and at least six credits. All students follow a six-day cycle for classroom instruction.
