The annual Senior Awards Ceremony will be held in the high school auditorium on Monday, May 24, 2021 at 6:30 p.m. All those in attendance will be required to wear a mask and be socially distanced. The honoree and two guests only will sit together, six feet apart from others. Entrance is by ticket only; three tickets will be included in the invitation. At this ceremony, we will be recognizing select members of this year’s graduating class for their achievements and contributions to our community. If your senior receives an invitation to attend this special event, we certainly hope you make every effort to attend, too! We are planning to stream this year’s ceremony on the Governor Mifflin School District’s Facebook page. As we get closer to the event, please refer to the GMSD website and Facebook page for additional details.

In order for your senior to participate in the events listed within this letter, they must clear ALL obligations by Friday, May 28, 2021. If your child’s Chromebook charger is lost, there is a $40 fee that must be paid at the time their Chromebook is turned in. If our Tech Department determines there is damage to your senior’s Chromebook, an invoice will be generated and sent to your home address during the early part of June. Chromebook drop-offs will take place on Thursday, May 27 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. in the library parking lot and on Friday, May 28 in front of the auditorium from 8:00-10:00 a.m., 12:00-2:00 p.m. and 3:30-4:30 p.m. All seniors must drop off their Chromebooks during one of these time slots.
