If you are a Governor Mifflin parent with a student who has an Individualized Education Plan (IEP), we are looking for your assistance. At least once every six years, the Department of Education/Bureau of Special Education (BSE) monitors special education practices in school districts for compliance. Governor Mifflin School District will be reviewed this year and as part of the process BSE is seeking parent opinions about the special education services being provided.

Your input is a valued part of this process and it would be greatly appreciated if you would consider participating by sharing your experiences via a parent survey. To complete the parent survey, go to http://apps.leaderservices.com/ParentSurvey. Once there click if you want the survey to be in English or Spanish and enter Governor Mifflin School District where is says “select your LEA.”

Each survey is easy to complete and should take no more than 15 minutes. Names are not used and no one is identified. An outside agency tabulates the results and provides the school district and the BSE with a report of how parents responded to the questions on an overall basis.

Your participation before February 14, 2020 is appreciated as that is when the surveys need to be completed. Thank you, in advance, for taking the time to provide us with input. The results will assist the BSE and GMSD in planning future training and improvement activities.
