Hello Governor Mifflin School District Families,

As we approach the end of the school year and look toward the summer months, we wanted to take the time to reach out and tell you about one of our very unique and beloved programs, the Mifflin Summer Zone.

Summer Zone is an opportunity for students to explore subjects of interest– such as music, art, cooking, technology, sports, and even wildlife— that they may not ordinarily get to explore in a safe, camp-like environment. Each Zone is run by a teacher at Governor Mifflin School District, giving students and staff the opportunity to engage and connect with one another throughout the summer break. Most importantly, it helps to keep kids learning and curious, and helps to prevent summer slide.

So, what’s the best part about Summer Zone? It’s absolutely free to attend, thanks to the generosity of the Governor Mifflin Education Foundation.

This year, we are offering fourteen zones for students ranging from 1st to 9th grade. To browse all available zones for 2022, please click here. For more information on each zone, please click on the zone’s icon.

Summer Zone registration will open Monday, April 18, 2022 at 4:00 PM. To register, please follow the instructions below:

  1. Visit on a computer, tablet, or mobile device
  2. Click on your desired zone
  3. On your desired zone’s page, click the “register now” button
  4. Complete and submit the registration form

Please note that registration is conducted on a first-come, first-served basis and registration for each zone will be closed once the zone reaches capacity. If you do not have access to a device to complete the registration process or you require assistance with registration, please call 610-775-1461 to arrange a time to use a computer at the Governor Mifflin Education Center.

We hope that you will take advantage of this opportunity and that we will see your student at Summer Zone 2022!

Thank you,
Governor Mifflin School District
