Learning is not limited to the classroom. Our Outdoor Adventure and Fitness Camp is designed to take advantage of the diverse settings our community has to offer. Whether it is learning how to rock climb, fish, or find GPS coordinates in Nolde Forest, we will explore how much fun fitness can be, outside of the classroom setting. Breaking down the strategies of a fitness game like ‘Capture the Flag’ can be fun while getting great exercise. Regardless of skill level, we welcome students from the Governor Mifflin community to leave the formal classroom setting and enter into some of the area’s most beautiful, natural settings right here in our own backyard. We will provide organized, fun, fitness based activities that require leadership skills, adventurous spirit, and teamwork. Some activities may include: HIKING, rock climbing, fishing or Capture the Flag. Our goal is to teach lifelong fun, fitness activities that get our students outside. Did you ever wonder how much exercise a game of laser tag was? Join us to find out!
