Come along with us as we explore the fields, woods, and water ways of Shillington Park. Take on the role of predator and prey as we investigate the forest. Catch butterflies, dragonflies, and grasshoppers in the park’s meadows. Answer the question “Who lives here?” as we get our feet wet in the stream and pond. You can look forward to a variety of engineering design challenges, Project WILD Games, and habitat exploration. In addition, we will immerse ourselves in the wildlife of Shillington Park. Through hands-on inquiry, observation, and research; we will discover what lives in our backyard. Toads, Turtles, and Trails campers will strengthen their relationship with the natural world and create a powerful connection with a local park through nature play.
